Capture guide
- Plain white background, part fully in frame.
- Even, diffuse light — avoid hard shadows.
- Shoot straight-on from far away + zoom to reduce perspective.
- Drawings: use "dark obj" mode; crop out title blocks.
Each silhouette is auto-cropped to its edges and stretched to your mm dimensions. Two or three views (e.g. front, top, right) are often enough.

Measure the real part with calipers. Export is 1:1 for Tinkercad.
Reconstruction
Upload views, set dimensions, then Generate 3D
In Tinkercad: Import → choose file → keep units in millimetres at 100% scale. SVG outlines import as flat shapes you can extrude.
